BLACKFEET RESERVATION HAS ITS FIRST CASE OF COVID-19.

PRESS RELEASE – APRIL 10, 2020:

Browning, MT – The Blackfeet Reservation has its first case of COVID-19.

The individual is a non-member resident who tested positive at Northern Rockies Medical Center in Cut Bank and is now receiving medical treatment outside of Glacier County.

No further information is available due to HIPPA Law.

From this point forward, Blackfeet Incident Command is requiring all residents of the Blackfeet Reservation to wear face masks and gloves when going in public.

We want to remind everyone to practice the safety guidelines as outlined by the CDC and Blackfeet Ordinance 121 and any other orders by the Blackfeet Tribal Business Council pertaining to the COVID-19 Emergency.
